The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the science and the art of OT Exegesis. The course guides the students through the book of Esther (MT) in translation (English or Croatian). It seeks to equip the student with the right critical tools as the student seeks to read biblical narrative. The course considers how to read biblical narrative as a meaningful whole, how to benefit from its genre and literary features, how to ask what it says about God, to explore the role of history and to ask what biblical stories might do to us if we read them.
